Spirituality may be defined as the experience of relationships founded upon the love of Jesus Christ. The relationships of individuals or communities are direct witnesses to their spiritual health. Whether founded upon connections established at Church, work, school, in our homes, on the streets, with family, friends, acquaintances, and strangers alike; we always have the opportunity to build these relationships on the love of God. The Metropolis of San Francisco Spiritual Renewal Ministry is committed to the exploration of the mediums through which these connections are made, and people are given the opportunity to grow in their individual and communal spirituality.

Spirituality may be defined as the experience of relationships founded upon the love of Jesus Christ.  American culture offers multiple experiences that connect both individuals and communities.  Popular culture binds multiple generations, influences millions, and provides opportunities to connect with countless others.  Pop music and movies offer an opportunity for millions to establish and maintain relationships; therefore, pop culture provides a unique and relevant opportunity to build these relationships on the love of God.  Through the exploration of Christian themes found in Pop Media, the Metropolis of San Francisco Spiritual Renewal Ministry hopes to facilitate an insight into this opportunity and experience of spiritual renewal.
